The mission of the Black Healing Fund is to assist in the fight against the mental, health, and economic impact of racism on Black and Brown communities prioritizing Black communities in Snohomish County. Their mission is guided by four focal pillars: Awareness & Advocacy; Education & Empowerment; Decolonizing Access; Stronger Partnerships. Their major programs are: Chakula Ni Lazma (Food is a human right); YAM (Youth Academics & Mentorship); Umoja (Community engagement); Akazu (Housing and Utilities support).
